Psychological Assessment

In addition to general psychology and counselling, I can support with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments.

If you suspect you may have ADHD or ASD, feel free to contact me to discuss if you could benefit from a diagnostic process.

Please note that due to the limited amount of spots available, psychological testing can only be conducted upon request and after a consultation.

Because both ADHD and ASD symptoms must be present during childhood (ages 6 to 12), the most reliable way to carry out the diagnosis is to also include someone who was present during your childhood, normally one of your parents or an older family member.

Every diagnostic process is different, but generally speaking, it looks like this:

01

Intake (approx.1,5 hours):

During the intake session, I will ask you questions about your life, especially about your childhood and development process. For instance, I will ask about your school life, your social life, your work life and your family life. It is helpful if before this session you already have thought of some examples regarding the difficulties you have encountered in your life

02

Testing (approx. 2-3 hours):

This session entails a structured interview where we will review all the aspects that indicate the presence of ADHD, ADD or ASD. Some additional tests might be administered as well. After this appointment, I will collect all the results from our previous meetings and draft a diagnostic report with my conclusions and recommendations.

03

Results (approx. 0,5-1 hour):

We will meet to discuss the results of the diagnostic process. Here, you will be welcome to ask all your questions.
